This art class is a semester long. Join us Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays for this after school art class dedicated to learning the foundation of realism. Students will learn/continue the fundamentals of classical realism and then be encouraged to develop their own style. This class is for ages 11 through 17. Classes start at 4:00 pm and run until 6:30 pm. All students will have a materials list they will be responsible for bringing their first day of class and all semester. Jason Budowski is a portrait and seascape artists whose artwork was accepted into the de Young Open in 2023. In 2017, he was hired to bring classical realism to 5th – 8th graders at Adda Clevenger in San Francisco. The curriculum was quickly modified to a more direct and engaging approach to learning art and realism.
