Kids, Water, Fish and Frogs – a Native Wildlife Event
This native wildlife event features a fly-tying demonstration and well as informational talks and tables about native, aquatic animals and more. All displays emphasize water quality and how it affects wildlife and people. Arts and crafts are also available. Sponsored by the Little Blue River Watershed Coalition and Heart of America Fly Fishers. Events 11:00 – Meet and learn about our tree frog and American toad 12:00 – Talk on how you can affect and improve our water quality 1:00 – Meet and learn about our crayfish 10 am – 2 pm Observe fly-tying Learn about native fish and aquatic insects Learn about water quality and effects on wildlife Arts and crafts are also available
