A friendly, well-trained therapy dog from Caring Canines will give elementary aged readers an opportunity to improve their literacy skills by sharing stories aloud. The dog's non-judgmental presence and silent appreciation for the written word paves the way for reading success and provides a healthy boost of confidence.
