Raising the Flags on Colorado’s Sesquicentennial
Come celebrate Colorado’s 150th with a flag-raising event and FREE admission on August 1! This is a free event but please RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE so we know you’re coming! Three new flagpoles are going up at the Museum of Boulder, a gift from the Rotary Club of Boulder. On August 1st, Colorado Day, we’ll raise the United States flag, the Colorado state flag, and the (unofficial) City of Boulder flag for the first time. The timing isn’t an accident: 2026 marks Colorado’s 150th anniversary of statehood, and we wanted a way to mark it that people could see from the street.
