Hummingbird Banding

Hummingbird Banding Back for the third summer in a row – Hummingbird Banding with the Intermountain Bird Observatory crew! Trained biologists will be banding, measuring, and releasing wild hummingbirds as part of our monitoring research. Come see them up close and learn about hummingbird conservation and research.Drop in anytime between 7 am and 11 am on your selected date. Some folks may want to stay only an hour, others the entire time. We’ll likely see most of the hummingbirds early in the day, so it’s best to arrive before 9 am to see the most activity.
