At Tallyn's Reach Library, 23911 East Arapahoe Road, Aurora, CO, 80016
Learn how to tumble rocks, and watch our batches as they progress through the tumbling cycle all the way to gems. Join us every other Wednesday as we guide our rocks through the fascinating tumbling cycle. Watch as we wash and inspect the stones, change the grit, and maintain the tumblers, all while documenting their progress. Community members are invited to observe the process, ask questions, and learn more about the science and patience behind rock tumbling. Whether you’re a hobbyist, curious learner, or simply love geology, this is a unique opportunity to see the transformation of rough stones into polished treasures. Bring in your Pokémon cards for a swap meet! Trade with friends and battle with your coolest cards before trivia at 4 p.m.
