BLDG61: Laser Cut a Halloween Photo Magnet Frame

This beginner-friendly class invites you to design and create your very own personalized Halloween Photo Magnet Frame using the library's laser cutter. Each student can customize the frame with small halloween figures and an engraved phrase. You will leave with a custom frame you can proudly display on your fridge or other magnetic surface. In this workshop, students will be introduced to the basics of laser cutting and digital design in a fun and approachable way, no prior experience required! Using Adobe Illustrator, you'll get hands-on experience with creating a custom design and watch the laser cutter bring it to life. All ages are welcome, but participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supported by an adult caregiver for the duration of the workshop. This workshop will be taught by community educator, Nikoletta.
