At Lynden Public Library, 216 4th Street, Lynden, WA, 98264

We invite all Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and any interested library patrons to come to our third Community Conversation, held at the Lynden Library on Wednesday, February 24th from 6-7:30pm. WCLS was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities. The grant is helping our library connect with the local Deaf and hard-of-hearing community and improve accessibility. Whether you joined us for our first or second Community Conversation or are attending for the first time, we'd love to see you! This conversation is an exciting culmination of the grant project, covering all that WCLS has done and plans to do going forward. This event is open to all ages, with crafts and games for children. Snacks and ASL Interpretation will be provided, please email [email protected] with any questions.
