This book club for kids ages 9-12 meets every other month for a book discussion and activities. A family curse lands Stanley Yelnats in a juvenile detention center where he's forced to dig a new hole every day in the hot Texas sun in this Newbery Award-winning title. As he makes new friends with the other inmates and learns the history of the camp, Stanley comes to understand truths about his own family, too. At book club, we'll discuss the story, enjoy a snack, and do an activity related to the book. Register to get a free copy of the book (pick up at the 1st Floor Information Desk). Supplies are limited!
