Playing with pH in Botanical Dyes

With Meghan Navoy from Rosemarine Textiles, we will experiment with the way changes to pH can alter a single dye to achieve many shades. Dye fabric swatches with marigold and pomegranate peel and see the changes by dipping them in ferrous sulfate, baking soda, and chalk. Chose a final color to dye a bandana or pillowcase.
